ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: Emily Vancamp’s character and wedding bells…
Yes, you read that article title correctly: Wedding bells are going to be in the air for a certain star of “Revenge” at some point this year. But when will it be? You can find out below, but we warn you now that there are some pretty substantial spoilers ahead.
Speaking to TV Guide, new showrunner Sunil Nayar confirmed that the recent flash-forward that we heard about over the weekend is going to focus this time on the wedding for Emily VanCamp’s Emily Thorne. However, there’s a twist: You’re not going to know who the groom is, and you still won’t know until the show’s winter finale close to the holiday season:
“We’ll see her in a wedding dress. It’s going to be cool. You’ll be dying to know all the details as the season progresses toward the winter finale.”
So who is the lucky groom? Let us try and analyze the possibilities:
1. Daniel – The clear advantage to her marrying Daniel is that the two are already engaged, and this is somewhat of a nice change from last time the two were in this position, where they did not actually end up walking down the aisle. But doesn’t this also seem a little predictable? There is also the possible issue here of her not actually loving him.
2. Aiden – The love is there, but Aiden is also a little all over the place and a little vengeful with some of his own actions. One of the reasons for the thinking of “opposites attract” is because people who have too much in common often fail to really work out at the end of the day.
3. Jack – There’s a past there, but there’s also a more recent past that includes Jack marrying someone who he thought was Amanda Clarke. There’s going to be some other healing that needs to be done here before marriage is even remotely an option.
4. Patrick – Why not? Who says that Victoria’s secret son cannot get into the running? It just seems to be extremely unlikely.
