‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 4, episode 8 preview: Maura gets a visit from her sister

The past few episodes of “Rizzoli and Isles” season 4 have had a lot of focus put on Jane as her character has battled an injury to her ankle as well as a pair of scammers that tried to get her condo with a bogus lawsuit, but next week’s all new episode looks like we may be seeing the focus shift to Maura and drama the will be surrounding her.

The synopses for next week’s episode reveals that Maura will be getting a visitor… from her half sister Cailin. While we know that Maura’s patience with her sister will be tested while she stays with her, since drama seems to follow Cailin around like the plague. Maura and Cailin have a pretty heavy history with everything that came out about their mother, that she is Cailin’s half sister and the fight over the kidney (that Cailin eventually accepted.) When they last spoke they left things on fairly good terms so we hope that Cailin resurfacing won’t end in more secrets, fight and drama.

As for the case Rizzoli and Isles will be working on next, it looks like it’s going to have our ladies bundling up as they will be spending a lot of time at the ice rink. The new promo below shows us that the case of the week will be centered around hockey and that they will have a difficult time tracking down the culprit (although we suspect that it will all be wrapped up with a bow by the end of the episode).
