‘Game of Thrones’ season 4 spoilers: Kit Harrington on filming locations and more

What's next for Jon? -As it turns out, this is already an interesting “Game of Thrones” shooting process for Kit Harrington. For really the first time, the actor responsible for the character of Jon Snow is not going to be roaming around in the snow, at least away from what is a possible set in Northern Ireland.

During an interview with “Access Hollywood,” Harrington confirmed that he is going to remain in the Belfast area through the filming process this year, and will not be heading to Iceland. Some other actors, including Maisie Williams (Arya) and Gwendoline Christie (Brienne) have already done a good deal of filming there.

Harrington was also quick to tease some of the drama and action that should be coming around every corner this time around, and it seems as though events are not going to slow down at all following the Red Wedding:

“There’s a hell of a lot of fight scenes. There’s a lot of blood, there’s a lot of gore. It’s more action packed then any season we’ve done so far, so it’s gonna be a test to see if we can get it done.”

Harrington, like every other “Game of Thrones” actor on the planet, is probably well aware at this point of the pressure that really looms around every corner for him to produce another phenomenal season of the show. Season 3 was the most successful yet, and it also managed to produce the Red Wedding, arguably the most stunning event out anything in the George R.R. Martin book series (though something that takes place pretty soon will rival it to a certain degree).
