For those of you anxious to know what Adam Lambert is going to be doing on the fifth season of “Glee,” you’re not alone: Even if the “Trespassing” singer may know a little bit more than the rest of us about his role, he is not exactly sure when he will be turning up on the show.
Speaking to “Access Hollywood” this week while at the “Lovelace” premiere, Adam confirmed that most of his talks with producers have been just that. He’s still waiting for more concrete details, including when he will be turning up and how long he could be sticking around in the role:
“I have no clue, no indication of what I’m doing. I’m waiting on pins and needles just like you are.”
Given that Ryan Murphy said previously that Adam is joining the show for multiple episodes this fall, it’s probably safe to assume that November is a good target date for his first appearance on the show. The first episode is being filmed now, and Adam would have heard if he was in the second. The third, meanwhile, is the tribute to Cory Monteith, and it feels appropriate that this would be reserved for the actors who knew him and worked with him over the years. There will be a hiatus after this episode films, just like there will be for Fox as a whole thanks to baseball, and it will be at that point that the writers can really dive into where they want to go with their established characters, and also their guest stars.
Don’t worry: We will have much more Adam’s role and on “Glee” as soon as the news arrives on our metaphorical doorstep. If you do want to check out some more scoop related to the show, our advice is to head on over to the link here.
