‘Game of Thrones’ season 4 spoilers: Another week, another casting

You know you are doing something right as a TV series when you have dozens of characters already, and yet nobody complains about you continuing to bring new ones on board. This would be a cause for much protest and pitchfork-waving with many other series, but thankfully not when we’re talking about the world of “Game of Thrones.”

So who is the latest actor to join this giant, metaphorical army? It’s none other than “Banshee” actor Joseph Gatt. His agency has him listed, and there are also some pretty interesting posts on Twitter that suggest that he has a four-episode arc on the series.

Exhibit A – “Final fitting done! OMG, this is an unforgettable costume!! Thanks to the amazing wardrobe peeps on… #WorkofArt #Blessed & Excited”

Exhibit B -“Wrapped here & flying home! 2 Eps shot (2 to go), 3 directors, 2 stunning locations, 1 wrap party, 1 AMAZING team, and 1 AWESOME show!”

Given that he works on a show on HBO’s sister network Cinemax, this does seem like it would be the perfect fit for all parties involved. All we can say is that season 4 is going to be more expansive than ever, and will feature more of the famous families of Westeros than we have seen to date. It will be exciting, dense (for sure), and hopefully the strongest season yet. We can’t wait to see how they top the Red Wedding from last season.
