‘Big Brother Canada’ season 2: Glitter Gary’s alter-ego stars in casting video

The casting process begins! -Even though we are stuck in the middle of “Big Brother 15,” does the casting this time make you miss “Big Brother Canada” a little bit? There are definitely moments where we pine for the days of great characters and Marsha the Moose (even though we don’t think that twist can be used again), and we’re just thrilled that there will be another season.

Yes, the bad news is that season 2 of the Canadian adaptation won’t be back until the winter, but casting for the show is now underway! Do you want to trap yourself in a house for over two months with complete strangers, eat slop, possibly have a showmance, and try to win one of the most-complicated games out there? If so, stop by a casting call! The following locations are where you can go in order to submit your application.

September 8 – Vancouver, Metropolis at Metrotown

September 14 – Edmonton, West Edmonton Mall

September 20 – Halifax, Halifax Shopping Centre

September 21 – St. John’s, Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland

September 27 – Montreal, Le Centre Montreal Sheraton

October 19 – Toronto, John Bassett Theatre

Personally, we’d love to see more of Quebec presence on the show this coming season, given that the province was basically jumped over last season. We’re also still holding out for a Yellowknife contestant someday to show off more of Canada’s cultural diversity, which is something that the show did a great job of the first time around.

Also, see the video below for a pretty hilarious appearance from “Glitter” Gary Levy as Gerald, in hopes of him getting his third opportunity to compete in the house. After last season, we will personally campaign for Gary to be on any version of the show around the world. Instant entertainment, especially if there is an opportunity to celebrate winning a competition.
