‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 6 spoilers: Will Sonny Barger’s Lenny be back?

Sons of AnarchySomething that Kurt Sutter has talked about in various interviews over the years is how “Sons of Anarchy” needs longer episodes than it did in the beginning, largely due to the scope of the universe and the number of people that are now involved within it. You have so many characters who are a vital part of the story, and even some that you do not see particularly often can end up playing an important role.

Ultimately, this is where Sonny Barger comes into play. Any diehard fan of the show likely already knows the man’s story as one of the founding members of the Oakland chapter of Hell’s Angels, and the extent of his real-life biker history that he brings to the show. So whenever you see his character of Lenny “The Pimp” Janowitz, it feels like something of an event given that the character is the last original member of SAMCRO still affiliated with the club.

Luckily, we have our confirmation now that Lenny’s time on the show is far from over. In a post on Twitter, Sutter confirmed that we will be seeing more of him during the last half of season 6, which is going to be filming soon. (There was a brief production hiatus taken midway through the season.) As for his role this season, that remains to be seen, but we hope that it involves Otto given that Sutter almost seems to relish the opportunities to torture his own character on the show.

“Sons of Anarchy” season 6 premieres on FX September 10, so we will have some more in-depth scoop before that time. Meanwhile, be sure to visit the link here if you want to read more news via Charlie Hunnam and some of the other actors.
