‘NCIS’ season 11 spoilers: Pauley Perrette reacts to Cote de Pablo’s exit
The following is really one of the sad after-effects that seems to come with both sad news breaking on a TV show and the advent of Twitter: A group of people choose to take it upon themselves for whatever reason to say nasty things to someone who has nothing to do with the decision that has been made.
In the first major comments that have been made by an “NCIS” star following Cote de Pablo’s decision to leave the show this summer, Pauley Perrette made it very clear on her Twitter account that she was a fan of her work; unfortunately, the decision was Cote’s to make, and telling off one of her co-stars is probably not going to do anything to help the situation:
“Cote’s my friend! Love her. You guys writing mean things to ME (?) I’M SAD SHE LEFT TOO! I didn’t want her to leave! SAD! She left. We are all still here. We love her. We love you. She left. We love you and are working hard to make you happy.”
As per all incidents like this, it should be noted that some of these haters are a tiny but angry percentage of the Cote fans that are out there, as most of them (even to us here over the past few weeks) have been kind. Understandably sad, but still kind. Pauley herself made clear in the following tweet, where she thanked all of the other fans for their outpouring of kind words and support, who clearly outnumber the negative folks by a pretty insurmountable margin.
Perrette’s comments do serve as some confirmation that she is still in fact leaving despite some of the Twitter protests and trending topics, and really the nature of whether or not she will ever return will be dependent on what happens to Ziva.
For now, you can read all of our other coverage regarding Cote’s exit here, and also some scoop about what is going to come up this season on “NCIS.”

I think the problem was that Pauley immediately after did a “Twitter” mistake, as many celebrities do and didn’t acknowledge Cote but only said “I love my job”. I guess some took that as a smack towards Cote. Probably best when things get sticky to stay off twitter. At least she finally said something nice and I think it just died. I think she probably was a little mad at first because she didn’t find out til 20 minutes before CBS announced to the public. Don’t know why actors and sports figures have to go to twitter all the time. It always gets you into trouble. I know she’s on there an awful lot. She does great charity stuff she should probably talk about that and stay away from controversial stuff. I think she learned her lesson.

Who’s writing nasty things to Pauley? Pauley is tres cool, ya’ll need leave her alone, we NOLA’s protect our own.
And Pauley had nothing to do with Cote leaving. It was of course Moonves the cheap-ass that he is refusing to pay her what she is worth. And becasue of it, I’ll never watch the show again.
NCIS love to get rid of intelligent, strong women, very quickly. I have no idea how Pauley has lasted so long, but thank god she has, she’s one of the best part’s of the show. They need to pay Cote her worth.

Moonves’ statement today in the news indicates clearly that
money was at the root of the problem. CBS may have offered Cote more
money, but it clearly wasn’t enough for her to stay. The fact that
Moonves revealed the network upped their offer suggests that this was a
negotiation, not a unilateral decision by Cote to leave.
So no
matter what CBS and Cote might say, it says here that CBS didn’t pay her
what she thinks she’s worth. Consequently, she will be leaving NCIS
sooner than later.

What kind of retards blame the other actors on the show for the decision, BY Cote de Pablo, to leave NCIS?

How do you “know” this is only a “tiny” portion of the Cote fans? Sure seems like an awful lot of hate being aimed at Pauley and the rest of the cast, and all of it by these supposed Cote fans. Your “articles” are always skewed towards supporting these Ziva/Cote fans, and as such quite biased. You don’t even seem to check your claims. Twice now you’ve written that that these fans have gotten their save Cote hashtags trending wordwide, but in fact these so called trends are only on the tailored trending, not worldwide. (You can actually check all the worldwide trends for any given day and time, so please do from now on). These articles have no pertinent facts, and only serve to stir up the hate and pander to the more extreme Cote fans. One-sided journalism.

Excuse me? Are you saying that if we support Cote we are all haters? It appears that it is your view that is skewed. Personally I love Michael Weatherly and think Pauley is a nice person but I also believe that the show needs Ziva’s character. No hate involved. Just my biased opinion.
