‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 spoilers: Clearing up confusion on Ariel, Peter Pan

Once Upon a TimeBeing that the world of fairy-tale characters can be somewhat murky, we have for you some much-needed details when it comes to new and super-important faces on “Once Upon a Time” season 3, starting with the story that is perhaps most important to the avid throng out there clamoring for an announcement over who is going to be playing Ariel on the new season.

Speaking to TV Guide, executive producer Adam Horowitz didn’t offer up any casting hints, but did confirm what we warned you about back when that first teaser aired: The character is going to be in Neverland and not Storybrooke. That teaser was just designed because they were able to get Lee Arenberg to take part, and they hadn’t had the time to edit together any of the actual relevant footage from the season in time for the convention.

Also, Horowitz says that the verification about Greg and Tamara’s employer is going to hit them pretty soon, and we really cannot wait to see what their reaction is going to be upon finally learning the truth that they have been with the dark side (cue dramatic music), or at least the fairy-tale side, all along:

“As we stated in the finale, Greg and Tamara don’t know that they’re working for Peter Pan … So the Home Office is related to Pan, but that’ll be cleared up pretty quickly.”

Now, just how long can Tamara really stick around for? We’re still eager to find out answers on that, based largely on the news that Sonequa Martin-Green is a series regular on “The Walking Dead.” Sooner or later, she’ll have to stop being evil long enough to fight some zombies again. The producers are the masters of making schedules work, given that we know already about the return of one Sarah Bolger (Aurora) returning, despite her having a gig elsewhere.
