While the cast of the flagship “NCIS” show went to work last week for the first time since the fall (and possibly with some uncertainty for the future, given Cote de Pablo’s impending exit from the show), the crew from the Los Angeles spin-off is now up and running, as well. Don’t believe us? How about some picture evidence!
We’ll start this off with a warning: The picture is kind of bloody … but also kind of hilarious. Stop reading now if you’re the super-sensitive type, but we figure that you’re probably not watching this show if you are.
The image that we have for you here was posted on Twitter by Daniela Ruah, and it’s pretty reminiscent of some of those candid shots that Stephen Colbert takes where he stands next to someone and smiles really obnoxiously, while said other person really doesn’t do anything of the sort.
This is what we like to call a nice reminder of something that is so very easy to forget when you have a show that is so action-packed and stuffed full of drama: These people get along! Plus, they have a sense of humor! This show has worked hard to find its own tale separate from the original series, and it has succeeded in doing that. With that being said, though, the two have one thing in common: Being extremely tight-lipped about what is coming up around the bend when the new seasons premiere on CBS Tuesday, September 24.
