‘Homeland’ season 3 spoilers: Check out a pair of new faces
We’ve spent a great deal of time as of late talking all about Comic-Con in San Diego, but for “Homeland” fans, this may feel like a rather tragic affair for one specific reason: The show is not present there.
Anyhow, what we have to share with you now is a slice of the latest casting news when it comes to some guest characters on the show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the following two actors have been booked to make appearances on the third season.
1. Martin Donovan – The “King & Maxwell” and “Boss” actor is playing a pretty unknown character known as Bennett. All we know for now is that he is a partner in a Washington DC law firm, meaning that we are going to likely have a need for a lawyer to turn up on the show. (Smart logic there, right?)
2. Shaun Toub – This role is a bit more substantial. The “Iron Man” actor has been cast to play Majid Javadi, some sort of high-ranking Middle Eastern intelligence officer. Expect there to be several appearances through out the season from Toub, even if both his actions and who he is working with remain unclear for the time being.
What we can say for now is that “Homeland” season 3 will premiere on Showtime on September 29, and we hope there will be more scoop in the weeks ahead.
