Do you hear that faint sound in the distance? It is of “Walking Dead” fans slowly doing the walk to San Diego Comic-Con. The annual convention is a hotbed of all of the biggest fans for this and other franchises, and everyone who loves the AMC show and the Robert Kirkman comic are sure to love the booth that has been set up for this year’s event.
The image we have here comes to us from the network’s official blog, where there is already some massive effort going into promoting all things zombie. The figure of Rick on the watch tower was created in part by special effects guru / executive producer Greg Nicotero, and there are also set to be aquariums stuffed full of walker heads at the event, and also The Governor’s famed leather chair, designed in this instance to be the perfect photo opportunity.
As for the actual “Walking Dead” panel itself, it will be happening on Friday, and should feature many of the show’s biggest stars along with Kirkman and the producers teasing the road ahead. Season 4 has been shooting for many months now, meaning that there have already been plenty of opportunities for everyone to get into the swing of things. With that being said, there are still also a number of mysteries that remain, including when we are actually going to see David Morrissey’s character once again, and what sort of action we will see in a season that has been hyped already for character development.
