ABC’s ‘Mistresses’ episode 7 review: Harry confronts Dominic, April gets a shock

MistressesABC’s “Mistresses” has had a difficult time finding it’s footing with some of their characters, like Josslyn who is just a tamer version of Samantha from “Sex and the City”, but with some of the stories starting to really take shape we have hope that this show can find it’s way. Let’s check out what happened with our ladies tonight.

Josslyn: After her fight with Savannah , she has moved in with April until she can find a place of her own. We are finding it very hard to believe that a realtor that has recently moved million dollar properties can’t find a place of her own to stay. When Oliver makes a connection with Alex at Josslyn’s office he asks her a few questions about Alex and jealousy rears it’s ugly head. Couple that with the fact that she’s still emotional over the fight with Savannah and she’s a ticking time bomb.

Savannah: After a talk with a friend who reminds Harry of just how much Savannah has done for him (including sinking all of her life savings into his restaurant dreams) he decides to tell Savannah to keep her job at the firm and that they will work everything out. When a work function comes up that Savannah has to attend, Harry says he wants to come and she agrees. At the event Dominic congratulates Harry on the baby with Savannah and Harry punches him in the face (and we all cheer!) When Dominic confronts Savannah he realizes that the baby could actually be his. Later Harry tells Savannah that for the first time since she told him the truth he actually feels a bit better about the situation.

Karen: While shopping to upgrade her security for her house, she runs into Anthony (the insurance investigator) who tells her how beautiful she is and offering to help her install her new flood lights. Could he be a potential love interest? Later at home Karen is in a full state of paranoia about Sam breaking into her house or hurting her in some way and she calls Anthony to come over. After a few glasses of wine he tries to kiss her, but she tells him that with the investigation still open that it’s a bad idea. In the end, all of her paranoia is real and Sam is stalking her.

April: She has given 20% of her store back to investors to pay Miranda off and we still find it completely unbelievable in this day and age that she (or anyone) would had money over to a stranger without a DNA test that they had conducted. Richard wants to move their relationship to the next level by telling their children the truth about them dating and asks her to go away on a romantic trip with him. She tells him that she doesn’t want to bring it up to Lucy if they aren’t getting serious and he tells her they are. After thinking she saw Paul’s ghost, she needs time to let go of him and finally decides it’s time to move on with Richard. unfortunately after getting off the phone with him, there’s a kick at her door and it’s Paul.

What did you think of this week’s episode of “Mistresses”? Do you think April will be able to move on with Richard now that Paul’s back? Leave us a comment and tell us what you think.
