‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5: Paul Wesley teams up with ‘Sons of Anarchy,’ ‘Shameless’ stars

Paul WesleyWe know already that Paul Wesley is going to have a busy schedule this fall just courtesy of season 5 of “The Vampire Diaries,” but we also know to go along with it that there is a film project coming up on the horizon.

According to a new report from Deadline, Wesley will join the cast of a feature film by Shawn Christensen based on his Oscar-winning live action short “Curfew.” There is not much in the way of talk yet about what sort of role he would play, but he joins a cast of notable TV stars that includes “Sons of Anarchy” actor Ron Perlman and also Emmy Rossum of “Shameless” fame.

Wesley is also reportedly on board as some sort of producer for the project, would should help him to arrange what is going to be one of the most complicated aspects of this deal for him: His schedule. The actor is going to be incredibly busy the next several months working on the CW series, so we don’t even know where he is going to find the time except for arranging it to work out on some of his off days. Given that he is going to be playing both Stefan and also his doppelganger Silas on the upcoming season, we still don’t know just how many of those he is really going to have.
