‘Glee’: Five Cory Monteith performances to remember from seasons 1-4

Glee

If you are still reeling from the tragic news surrounding the death of “Glee’s” Cory Monteith, you are not alone. It’s a devastating time for the show’s stars, its producers, and also its fans, but rather than trying to focus on the negative or speculate about a death investigation that is still ongoing, we want to present to you some of the actor’s best memories from a show that captured the hearts of millions over the years.

Hopefully you can find some sort of peace through some of the heartbreak, inspiration, pain, and joy of the videos featuring Monteith’s Finn Hudson below.

“Jessie’s Girl” – A fun, entertaining performance from early on in the show’s run, and one of the expressions of Finn’s love for Rachel, even when she was not available to him.

“Losing My Religion” – From the standout episode “Grilled Cheesus,” this is possibly one of the performances that we have listened to the most over the years So simple, but also completely earnest.

“Faithfully” – One of the most passionate performances from Monteith came during one of the group’s appearances to Regionals, where they continued their tradition of Journey songs with one of the band’s ballads.

“The Scientist” – One of the show’s most-heartbreaking moments, as this performance came after Finn and Rachel were among the couples to break up during the season 4 episode “The Break-Up.”

“Don’t Stop Believin'” – This was the song that really helped to launch “Glee” as a global sensation, and it is also the last song that Cory performed on the show before entering treatment. Hopefully, the message in this song holds extra meaning today.
