‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ preview: Teresa Giudice’s role in the fight

On Friday, we shared a first look at what is a pretty disturbing fight coming up on Sunday night’s “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” which features a pair of grown men and fathers in Joe Giudice and Joe Gorga coming to blows at the end of what has been a very long-winded conflict that is so hard to keep track of.

So where do we trace the origins of this blow up to? Really, it started back in season 3 when Melissa joined the show. Teresa obviously didn’t mind airing her own dirty laundry on the show, but it become far different when there was someone else from her own family trying to do the same thing. Neither party has been particularly interested in dealing with the other, and have created so much trash-talk that the entire fight has no real individual to blame anymore. Everyone’s at fault here.

To make matters worse, almost every single fight that we have seen over the past couple of seasons on this very subject has largely consisted of people starting things off by screaming at each other things like “we’re blood!” and “save our family”, almost like they are too afraid to get into details on-camera and are instead just settling for generalities. The escalation of this fight occurs when Teresa runs and tells her husband Joe that Joe Gorga called her “scum,” which leads to an angry confrontation where the two parties come to blows.

Hopefully, this embarrassing situation causes some sort of sit-down revelation that they are all acting like children; otherwise, the rest of this season’s going to be insufferable.
