‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3: Wilson Bethel’s pre-season praise … for improv?

Hart of DixieWhile you may know Wilson Bethel best for his part as Wade on The CW’s “Hart of Dixie,” it appears as though we are going to see the actor put on some very different shoes on the upcoming season of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” on The CW: Improv performer! Not only is Wilson apparently going to be funny on this upcoming season (which premieres on the network come Tuesday, July 16), but he also has the praise of one of the show’s stars.

Speaking in a new interview with TVLine, one of the regular stars in Wayne Brady had the following to say about what we can expect from Wilson when he does appear on the show later this coming season:

“Wilson Bethel was the most game and most skilled improviser of the celeb guests that we’ve had on the last run and this run. Out of the entire show. I will go on record as saying that, because he approached everything as not only a game — as evidenced by him drinking the urine test [in his episode] — but also, he was fast. [Snaps fingers] He was fast, and he was calm. That’s the thing that you need when you’re an improviser. He can come back anyway time he wants to!”

We imagine that having so many different celebrity guests turn up had to be a frightening challenge for Wayne and some of the other show’s stars, since you never quite know how they are going to be. Plus, there’s a sort of “Saturday Night Live” dilemma of having to make sure there’s not any ego-bruising going on when there is a sketch that could potentially make the given performer uncomfortable in any way.

After hearing this, do you want to see Wilson rock out on improv just as much as we do? If you want to check out even more news related to “Hart of Dixie” season 3, just be sure to head on over to the link here.
