‘Bunheads’ season 2: Sutton Foster (and the fans) still keeping the campaign going

BunheadsAt this very moment, you really have to give quite a bit of credit to the people in the “Bunheads” universe for their devotion. Many lesser fans would have likely folded with the news that the sets were taken down, or that the ratings for ABC’s new series (in “The Fosters” and “Twisted”) are higher than what it drew for much of its summer season last year.

However, these people are sticking with it, and at this moment have to be considered one of the primary reasons why ABC Family has not made a move to cancel the show yet. Star Sutton Foster has taken notice, sending out thank-you message and tweets to those who are trying to save the show with campaigns to the network.

But will all of this be enough? There is a part of us that theorizes that the network was hoping that the show would go somewhat quietly into the night, only for them to have otherwise learned now that this has not exactly happened in the way in which they have hoped. The following for the show has only become more active, and there is still hope that Foster is nominated for an Emmy (which she really does deserve).

We’ll sum up our feelings on the subject by saying the following: Anytime that you have a show that brings out these sort of diehard fans, you owe it to them and to yourself to give the show another shot. Given how many other acclaimed shows on cable have increased their audience with viewing in between seasons, isn’t it possible that “Bunheads” could do the same thing?

Of course, we will let you know one way or another whenever the network does officially decide what they are going to do with the future of “Bunheads.” For now, we advise you to just visit the link here if you want to read some more news related to the show.
