‘NCIS’ season 11 spoilers: Marina Sirtis booked to return

NCISWe have to start things off here first and foremost by stating the obvious: We’re still sad over the news that Cote de Pablo is leaving “NCIS” after the start of season 11. This news in no way replaces that, but it is rather nice to hear nonetheless that another favorite is coming back on the show.

You may have known already that Marina Sirtis was going to be returning to “NCIS” at some point this year based on some recent comments on her Twitter, but to go along with that, she also confirmed that she would be back as Mossad boss Orli Elbaz for the second episode of the season.

Will there be opportunities for appearances beyond that? We have to believe that it is more than possible, but for the time being nothing is confirmed. Given that we now have a pretty substantial change coming at the start of the season, we imagine that we are going to see more of this show kept under wraps then usual, that way to not spoil the surprise of Ziva’s departure from the show, or any of the other story threads that we are going to see play out pretty soon.

For those who have not heard yet, the “NCIS” premiere will be on Tuesday, September 24, and it will pick up by helping to answer what led Gibbs to that point where he became a sniper, and what Tony and Ziva have been up to in their time away.
