House of the Dragon season 3 episode 3: Final expectations

Tomorrow night on HBO, we know that we are going to have a chance to dive into House of the Dragon season 3 episode 3. Do you want to know more about it now?

We tend to think that moving into the next chapter of the series, we almost should view it as a proper start to the new season — much in the same way that the first two episodes of season 3 felt like a natural conclusion to season 2. Rhaenyra is now Queen, Aemond is now in Harrenhal, and almost everything within the scope of the series has changed.

With everything that we have said above in mind, we tend to think that the big, fundamental question at the heart of the series now is not altogether complicated: What now? After everything that we have seen in regards to the series so far, what is the best way for them to continue it? Rhaenyra has known how to lead in Dragonstone, but King’s Landing is completely different. There may be people loyal to parts of the Greens around every corner, and that is without even mentioning the history that she has with the place. We tend to imagine that she will contend with all of this tomorrow night.

Then, there is also one extremely pivotal question that we have to wonder about when it comes to Alicent — does she survive? While she and Otto were hardly the idea daughter and father, something about seeing his dead body may trigger emotions from her. She is going to have to keep a calm head for her and Halaena both to survive, and doing that could so much be easier said than done.
