Is America’s Got Talent new tonight on NBC? We certainly do not blame anyone who wants to see the audition process continue.
Unfortunately, this is where we have some not-so-great news: The series is on hold tonight leading up to the July 4 holiday. However, there is a special coming up titled “July 4th: Party in The USA” that will air in a matter of hours. This is a chance to celebrate the show in a unique format, and we hope that it is fun — though it is also going to push the regular competition a little bit further down the road.

So when are you going to see America’s Got Talent back with new episodes? Think next week, when the next audition episode is going to air. The synopsis below sets the stage for what is coming up next:
07/07/2026 (08:00PM – 10:00PM) (Tuesday) : The judges are tougher than ever as auditions continue. Dueling magicians go head-to-head, a multigenerational tumbling team flips into the spotlight and a laser-fueled dance trio ignites the stage. TV-PG
In general, you can expect to see a lot of the same variety that we have had a chance to watch the majority of the season. We are hoping there will be some more standout acts still and in general, reason to be continuously excited for whatever the next chapter of the show is going to look like. We know that there is going to be a slight tweak to the format this season in the form of having a more substantial middle portion of the show, so that should offer us a chance to better get to know some of the acts versus what we have seen within the relatively recent history here.
