Big Brother 28: When will live feeds begin?

In a little over a week, the premiere of Big Brother 28 is finally going to be here on CBS — but what about the live feeds?
Well, this week Pluto TV (which airs some of the feeds via their platform) indicated that on Friday, July 10, they will kick off following the East Coast airing of Big Brother: Unlocked at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. Things are always subject to change with this show but at the same time, this does give us a little bit of something more to look forward to. If this holds, it is actually a little bit earlier than when we got feeds for season 27, meaning that we would not miss as much of the action.

We know that every single year, there is a renewed amount of speculation as to whether or not the feeds are going away, with a lot of it tied to the fact that the Canadian version of the show (which is now on its way back) did eliminate their own feeds midway through its run. Yet, that show operated under a different sort of financial model than the one stateside, which has a dedicated platform viewers can pay to use. While there is always a risk of negative controversy (just as season 15 or 19 about that) thanks to the feeds, CBS and the producers clearly realize that this is the bread and butter of the show. At their best, they can be really fun and also addictive entertainment.
To us, the best-case scenario is that Big Brother 28 somehow emulates what we had last season, which was arguably the most entertaining final three ever in Vince, Morgan, and Ashley, who managed to lie and (try to) manipulate each other up to the very end. That sort of unpredictability always makes the show better.
