The Traitors: New Blood premiere date, new details at NBC

For those who have been curious about the all-newbie version of The Traitors over at NBC, let’s just share some good news today!
Not only has the network confirmed that the Alan Cumming-hosted reality competition show will be coming on Thursday, September 17 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, but we are also going to get a two-hour premiere to kick things off. We also are happy to say that there is an official title here in The Traitors: New Blood.

Why are we so excited for a simple title change? It is rather simple — to avoid confusion with the Peacock version of the show, which features reality TV stars mixed with a lot of other celebrities. Also, this keeps people from potentially calling the NBC series (which is featuring everyday Americans) the “civilian version” of the show, which was always a strange connotation for what is effectively a silly reality series.
Hopefully we are going to be getting more news on The Traitors: New Blood in the weeks and months ahead, and we also hope that the earlier-than-expected release date means that we are going to get a significant number of episodes, as well.
As for the Peacock version of the show…
Rest assured that there is another chapter on the way, even if (unfortunately) we are going to be waiting a little while to get more information on it. More than likely, it is going to premiere at some point in early 2027. While a cast announcement usually comes out for it around June, we anticipate it being a little bit later this time around due to some changes when it comes to the filming timeline.
