The Traitors US season 5 premiere date: A June 2026 update

Is there any chance that we are going to hear more about The Traitors US season 5 between now and the end of June? From where we sit, we do tend to think there are a handful of things to be excited about.

After all, it is around this time every year that we learn who the cast is going to be for the Peacock version of the show. We do anticipate something similar this go-around to what we’ve seen in the past, meaning that we are likely going to get a mixture of known reality TV stars, athletes, performers, and a few surprises that are completely out of left field. You can call it a pseudo-celebrity version, but not to the extent of the UK version that has some legitimately big names taking part in one form or another.

So if we do get a cast for season 5 this month, will we also get a premiere date? That feels unlikely, especially since there is still no launch date for the NBC version this fall featuring everyday people. We tend to think that it will come in September / October, and the standard Peacock The Traitors US will still come in January. There is no real reason for them to change the date here, mostly because it has historically worked rather well for them and beyond just that, it allows them to take advantage of a whole in the reality TV market where there is not that much going on elsewhere. Why not try to get something out of this?

In the end, let’s just sit back and hope for a really great season, one that captures some great moments alongside some legitimate surprises and gameplay that makes both the Traitors and Faithful alike true contenders. Season 4 was great for Rob Rausch, but not so much anyone else.
