Widow’s Bay season 1 episode 10 (finale) video: Tom knocks…

As so many out there are more than likely aware at this point, Wednesday marks the arrival of Widow’s Bay season 1 episode 10 — in other words, the epic finale. Are you ready for what the story could be?

What is in one way ingenuous about the final episode is that despite all of the crazy haunts and surprises we’ve had over time here, so much of the narrative is now about whether or not Tom can seemingly break the cycle and kill the last descendant of Richard Warren. The problems here are twofold. He is trusting information from Rosemary about this and beyond just that, the person Matthew Rhys’ character has to murder here is Ruth. We are talking about a seemingly innocent old woman who even works for him at Town Hall. If there was ever a tremendous test of his morality here, we tend to think that this is it.

If you head over to the official Apple TV Twitter account now, you can see a sneak preview for this installment that sets the table a little bit further for what is to come. While this hardly gives away anything major when it comes to the show or what is to come, we also do not think that it is really meant to. Instead, all it confirms is that despite the storm raging across the island, Tom does make it to what looks to be Ruth’s door.

What is he going to find inside? That is, of course, one of the interesting questions we have to wonder about at this point. You could make the case that within these walls is Ruth conjuring some sort of spell or meeting with an evil entity. Or, she could be innocent and this is all a distraction!
