Boston Blue season 2 premiere date: A June 2026 update

Is there any chance that we are going to hear more about Boston Blue season 2 between now and the end of June?

Well, this is one of those situations where we do have a handful of different things we are thinking about already in regards to the future. The Blue Bloods spin-off was officially ordered some time ago for another chapter, and we also know that it is on the fall schedule. The question that comes by virtue of all of this is precisely when we are going to see it. September or October feels like the most likely option based on some of what we’ve seen in the past.

So will an official date come out between now and the end of the month? That would be great but at the same time, we also need to have realistic expectations here. The fastest we imagine something more being said here is either the end of the month or the first half of July. There is no guarantee that we’re going to be hearing more over the next few weeks.

As for the main reason CBS will make something clear at that point, it really comes down to promotion. There is no real reason for them to keep everyone waiting for a long period of time, and this gives them two or three months in order to get the word out throughout the summer months. They would be rather silly to not want to get as many people talking, especially if they are able to come up with some really exciting reasons for people to watch. Take, for example, getting more Blue Bloods alumni on board.
