Bad Monkey season 2 premiere date: A June 2026 update

Is there a chance we are going to hear more about Bad Monkey season 2 between now and the end of June?

Of course, the only natural place to begin with an article like this is noting simply where everything stands at present. The Vince Vaughn mystery show has already filmed the entirety of its next chapter, which is going to be based on an original story and not anything already composed by author Carl Hiaasen. (Apparently, the plan is to save an adaptation of Razor Girl for some point down the road.) Many cast members from the first two seasons will be back, and there are also some additions including Dexter and The Handmaid’s Tale alum Yvonne Strahovski.

So when are we actually going to see Bad Monkey arrive? Based on the way in which Apple TV is announcing things at present, it is hard to imagine a launch before late August / early September. Many of their summer premiere dates have already been filled in, whether it be a Ted Lasso or a Silo. Meanwhile, we also have Cape Fear and Star City on the air at present. The service clearly has a stacked lineup at present and due to that may not be feeling a whole lot of pressure when it comes to unveiling anything else.

There is at least a chance that the Vaughn series gets a premiere-date announcement this month, being that Apple has been making these announcements as of late a few months in advance. If not this, we do firmly believe we could hear something later this summer for a launch this fall. Nothing else, at least based on where things stand at present, makes a reasonable amount of sense.
