Your Friends & Neighbors season 3: Joshua Jackson joins

With Your Friends & Neighbors season 2 coming to a close over at Apple TV, is there a lot to be excited about regarding the future?
Well, we have known for a while that Michelle Monaghan would be a part of the show moving forward as a possible love interest for Jon Hamm’s character of Coop. Now, why not add Joshua Jackson to the mix? According to Deadline, the actor from The Affair, Dawson’s Creek, and Doctor Odyssey is set to play a recurring role on the series. There are no details out there moment regarding the exact role he is going to play. The only thing we can say with some confidence is that he will be at least some sort of notable part of the story — could be a friend or a foe without much trouble.

Ultimately, it does feel like Your Friends & Neighbors has a pretty specific format they are looking to follow, one where every season gives you a new set of characters around Hamm and some of the other regulars. For season 2, for example, we had a major arc for James Marsden as Owen Ashe — why not change things too much moving forward? There is clearly a pattern for this show that seems to absolutely work and then some.
Now, we just hope that we are going to be at least a few more teases for what is to come before we get to the end of the year. Is there really a better way to set the table for a possible launch next year? Apple has already done a good job making sure that this series is an annual event; let’s cross our fingers and hope that this continues.
