Shrinking season 4 episode count, filming window confirmed

Shrinking season 4 is absolutely coming to Apple TV down the road and beyond just that, we have some welcome news on production!

Speaking in a new interview with Variety, mega-star Harrison Ford himself confirmed that the next chapter of the show is going to start filming next week. Not only that, there are going to be twelve episodes, which is similar to what we saw back in season 2.

As great as a lot of this news is at the moment, there are still questions aplenty all about the future. Take, for starters, just what the story will be! Ford’s own character of Paul traveled off to the East Coast at the end of season 3, where it appeared it would be easier for him to live with Parkinson’s. How do you find a way to bring him back? Jimmy and so many others are still on the West Coast and we do not tend to think that Shrinking is going to be bicoastal for much of season 4. Some of this may just end up being tied to a time jump or some other way to bring people together.

While season 3 felt like it could have been a proper conclusion to the story, it goes without saying that we are very-much excited for what lies ahead. We’ve got a lot of faith in not just Bill Lawrence as a producer, but all of the writers to recreate some of the magic. There is going to be a lot of comedy from start to finish but beyond just that, also some meaningful moments. This show has managed to make you laugh and cry in a mere matter of minutes.
