‘Person of Interest’ season 3 spoilers: Michael Emerson’s back to work! (photo)
For many TV series, Tuesday is the day when the summer vacation officially ends; and thus, we have the first set photo from season 3 of “Person of Interest,” which is now starting up production on new episodes.
For more good news, the show’s writers have now set up an official Twitter! This image was first posted on there of Finch (Michael Emerson) wandering around set, using a comically large magnifying glass as a prop. You always have to appreciate seeing an actor enjoying their work, given that they are going to spend so much time on set. Production will likely run until April, and while there are breaks in there, the work days are traditionally very long and stuffed full of various responsibilities.
This is going to be a different sort of year for “Person of Interest” in many ways. We suspect that we are going to be seeing a good bit more of Amy Acker, and we are going to see the show air on a new night and time. After going to battle against “Grey’s Anatomy” for two years, CBS is moving the show to Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m. Eastern in hopes of dominating the night. We personally see this as a pretty smart move, given that there is not a lot of competition at this time that will keep the show from dominating.
What do you think about this photo, and do you imagine the show is going to be as successful as ever on Tuesdays? If you do want to read a little bit more of the latest “Person of Interest” news, you can do so by heading on over to the link here.
