Outlander season 8 episode 10 (finale): Will Jamie Fraser die?
We recognize that Outlander season 8 episode 10 is going to serve as the series finale and by virtually all accounts, one question really stands out: Are we going to see the death of Jamie Fraser?
Obviously, this is a major event that has already been foretold and within that, it does make sense to have all sorts of questions. Yet, at the same exact time, we do still believe that fate can be changed and that has been a huge part of the show’s DNA for so many years. The writers are playing around with this and with King’s Mountain right around the corner, everything will start to be made clear.

In speaking on all of this further to TV Insider, here is at least something that executive producer Matthew B. Roberts had to say:
“Fans should brace themselves. The question of whether Jamie dies at [the battle of] King’s Mountain is the question this entire season has been building toward. We don’t avoid it. We walk straight into it … The battle itself is everything you’d expect from Outlander at its best: visceral, emotional, and not quite what anyone is predicting. We don’t do anything the easy way, and we’re not starting now.”
You have probably heard already that there were multiple endings shot for the series finale, meaning that only a small group of people actually know how the Starz drama ends. Our general feeling is that while Jamie could die, it doesn’t feel like that has to be the case. Given the amount of years he and Claire had to spend apart, we personally enjoy the idea of them simply being able to enjoy the rest of their lives together and while the world is dangerous, they have shown many times over to have each other’s backs.
