Paradise season 3 spoilers: Elijah Wood, Melissa Benoist sign on!
Just in case you wanted another reason to be excited for Paradise season 3 over on Hulu we have it from none other than executive producer Dan Fogelman.
So is there a single headline here? Well, if so, it would have to be getting two other familiar actors on board the drama in especially notable roles.

In a new post over on Instagram, the executive producer not only confirmed that Melissa Benoist (Supergirl) is going to be a part of the upcoming batch of episodes, but that they will be joined by Elijah Wood (Lord of the Rings, Yellowjackets) at the same exact time. Not only that, but these characters appear to be … in space? Yes, it is every bit as bizarre and unpredictable as you ever would have expected.
The thing about Paradise in general is that this is the sort of show that is never afraid to morph into whatever it wants to be at any given moment. The first season was a post-apocalyptic murder-mystery with Cal at the center of it. Meanwhile, the second season became far more sci-fi with the potential time-travel question surrounding much of it. We knew that this was going to continue with Xavier and Alex in season 3 (most likely the final one), but adding in space? Why are there even astronauts out there, save for the idea that they were present when the initial crisis began? (If that was the case, how have they since survived?)
Ultimately, the number of questions here likely helps to cement the rather-simple fact that revealing the castings is hardly spoiling all that much at all when it comes to the story ahead.
