Widow’s Bay season 1 episode 3 sneak peek: Tom’s big tradition
In less than 24 hours you are going to see Widow’s Bay season 1 episode 3 arrive on Apple T — and of course, we are more than a little excited. How can we not be? This is an episode that is likely going to further some of the big questions at the heart of the show, including whether or not there are truly some supernatural events happening around the town.
Of course, this is not a story that the producers are likely to rush. To be specific on that, the latest sneak preview is mostly about Mayor Tom trying to make it appear as though it is business as usual.

If you head over to Broadway World right now, you can see a new sneak preview for what is ahead, one that features the likes of Matthew Rhys’ character leading a rousing speech before he “opens” the ocean for the season. He clearly is dressed like he is about to jump in the water himself, and this appears to be one of the typical town traditions we’ve come to know over time.
As exciting as this may be, there are still larger questions. Take, for starters, whether or not this entire tradition is still steeped in something scary. Also, could it impact the tourists? Judging from the crowd present for Tom’s speech, it does appear as though there are more tourists starting to flock to Widow’s Bay, meaning that at least some of his plans are successful. Of course, this does not mean that Wyck and/or anyone else is altogether thrilled with it happening.
