Widow’s Bay season 2: When will filming kick off?
It is hard to blame anyone in the world right now for wanting Widow’s Bay season 2 to arrive sooner rather than later. Just think about how awesome the first season proved to be! This is one of those shows that in a perfect world, it would be great to get more of almost immediately.
Unfortunately, this is where we do have to come out here with a reminder that this world is far from perfect and by virtue of that, Apple TV has shown a real habit of making its viewers wait for a really long time to see their series back, so why would we think that anything different would happen here? If nothing else, the good news here is that this is a comedy with shorter episodes, meaning that we are probably not going to be stuck with some awful three-season wait between shows.

Speaking (per The Hollywood Reporter) while at San Diego Comic-Con, creator Katie Dippold noted that there is going to take a solid twenty or so weeks. That allows for everyone to put together a perfect story and then after that, filming will start at some point next year. This means that a late 2027 / early 2028 premiere is most likely.
From where we stand, we do you think it is useful to get more episodes out there sooner rather than later, mostly due to the fact that you have momentum on your side here. Also, there has been continuous criticism from some parts of the internet that there are long breaks between seasons and that is not useful for a lot of shows all across the map.
