FROM season 4 episode 2: What will Sophia do?

As we look in the direction of FROM season 4 episode 2 on MGM+ next week, shifting sands will be a big part of the story … though not every character may know it.

From our vantage point as a viewer, we recognize that we are very-much likely to see something totally different thanks to that big Sophia twist. The Man in Yellow is now running around the town with a new face. No one, other than future Julie, knew that he existed; they have no reason to suspect this new arrival is up to anything nefarious at all. She can move around the town without suspicion, and we also know that she can break the rules set by the monsters. She can go inside!

So what will Sophia’s priority be at this point? Well, she made a note at the end of the premiere that she relishes the opportunity to see the town tear one another apart. It is easy to guess that she could just tear through the town murdering people left and right, but we don’t foresee that being the story here. Instead, she may try to sow divisions between everyone.

What is the end goal in all this? Well, one way to view things for the time being is that Sophia may know that the only way to stop the madness in the town is in the event that the residents all come together. Establishing herself as an enemy would give them a cause to unite. Doing something like this, however, is totally different — and it does paint the story in a pretty specific way as we move forward.
