When Calls the Heart season 14 premiere date: April 2026 update
With us now into the month of April, is there more that we can share regarding a When Calls the Heart season 14 premiere date at Hallmark Channel?
Of course, there are a multitude of different things we are excited to see in the long-term at Hope Valley. After all, season 13 concluded with Elizabeth and Nathan getting engaged and beyond that, the big return of Abigail after so many years away.

So what more could we learn about the show moving forward? Well, let’s just go ahead and say that the next few months will likely be quiet. We’ve noted this in the past, but we anticipate that When Calls the Heart filming will likely begin this summer, with a slight asterisk since Erin Krakow is currently pregnant. Depending on whether all scenes are shot in order or not, it could understandably start a little later than usual. Our feeling is that we’ll get season 14 in January still, unless we hear otherwise.
The biggest question we have at present
What is the story going to be for Lucas? It is obvious that Elizabeth and Nathan have a wedding to plan for, so there is no real suspense there. However, Chris McNally’s character could be taking off from Hope Valley for a time and with his time as Governor coming to a close, what is his incentive to try and come back at this point? Is there one? That could require somewhat of a wait-and-see approach, but we do hope that we are going to learn a little bit more when we get closer to the summer.
