The Traitors US season 5 premiere date: A spring 2026 update

Is there a reasonable chance that we are going to be hearing more about The Traitors US season 5, including a premiere date, before the spring is over? Or, is all of this just wishful thinking given that the fourth season is still fairly fresh?

With this show in particular, we will at least say that it is not crazy to start thinking about this stuff, mostly because there is a certain element of it that feels like a year-round event. There is a chance that before the spring is over, we are going to hear what the cast is for the upcoming season. We have seen this happen in the past, mostly because Peacock likes this info out there before filming — largely so that they can control more of the narrative and get people excited.

Is there a reason why this may not happen now? Well, if so, we imagine that it would be tied to what is going on with the all-newbie version happening at NBC. If that films first, a lot of other announcements could be pushed down the road.

In the end, what we are really just trying to express here is the fact that we could end up being stuck waiting for a good while longer than expected for more news on season 5 — even if that happens, though, we are of the belief that we are probably not going to be stuck waiting longer than usual to see the series premiere. Peacock has had great success with January launches for their reality TV alum / celebrity seasons; it is hard to imagine that changing.
