Daredevil: Born Again season 3: Charlie Cox on new era

Even though Daredevil: Born Again season 2 is just kicking off in earnest over on Disney+, is there still a lot took forward to? A season 3 is not only happening, but the actors are getting a chance to start to see what some of the stories will be.

Now, for Matt Murdock in particular, what does that mean? Well, the simple answer is a chance to move beyond just the current Fisk era and into something a little bit different. There is an air of mystery about the future and from where we sit, we tend to think that this is rather exciting. We can look down the road, even in this point, and have confidence with what the creative team are cooking up.

Speaking per Entertainment Weekly recently, Charlie Cox was kind enough to share at least a few more details on where the story will go in season 3:

“I haven’t read the whole thing … but, no, it feels like we’ve shed the skin of the Mayor Fisk era. It feels like it’s a new book, a new dawn a little bit … It’s still a continuation, obviously, but it’s slightly different. I can’t give anything away, but it’s a new thing, which is fun.”

Given just how much material there is out there for the Daredevil character, you can argue that there are an array of directions that the story could go. Our general feeling is that there will be a number of different twists that are coming, and we personally would love for at least a few more comic-book villains to surface. After all, there are still many who have not been explored!
