House of the Dragon season 3 spoilers: ‘Incredible’ stuff ahead?

Yesterday, HBO gave us a first-look teaser for House of the Dragon season 3, and you better believe it instilled excitement in us all over again! This is a show that is going to be kicking things off with the Battle of the Gullet, a key moment from Fire & Blood.
We recognize that there have been a lot of divided opinions about the second season but in the end, we still have a great deal of confidence for what lies ahead. There are, after all, some incredibly dramatic moments beyond just the fighting — and we hope opportunities to see more of where multiple parts of Westeros side within the great Civil War.

Speaking to The AV Club, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms showrunner Ira Parker had the following to say about the third season, a show that he worked on during season 1 before he landed his new gig:
House Of The Dragon was my entry into this world. Ryan Condal is the reason I have my current job. In a lot of ways, he’s my Ser Arlan. I’m so grateful for him because he pulled me into Westeros and gave me these opportunities. His love for this world is infectious. But I think they’re already well on their way with the show. From what I’ve seen and heard of season three, it’s incredible stuff, and they’re already well on their way into season four. So that was a lot of fun for one season, but hopefully, I’ll get to stick with Dunk and Egg for as long as possible.
We do tend to think that season 3 has a high bar to reach, but there is going to be so much great stuff packed in. Is House of the Dragon polarizing to some extent? Sure, but just remember that the first season was outstanding and we hope to get back there again.
