House of the Dragon season 3 teaser, premiere date incoming?

As we get prepared for the finale of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms on HBO this weekend, know there is more House of the Dragon news coming. As a matter of fact, it could turn up within the next 24 hours!

Today, the folks at the network officially confirmed that a teaser for the upcoming batch of episodes is going to surface tomorrow, which should at least help us brace for what is going to be one of the most epic and dramatic seasons in the entire Game of Thrones universe. Remember that the show is likely to kick off with the Battle of the Gullet, an extremely violent showdown between Team Black and Team Green that many were expecting at the end of season 2. (That is one of many reasons for frustration following that finale.) Given that this is just a teaser and not a trailer, we’d be shocked if we get more than a minute worth of footage; then again, the premiere is months away and there is a great deal of time for the producers to hand out more good stuff if they choose.

So could we get an exact premiere date? That remains to be seen, but today HBO did confirm that the show is coming back in June. That at least gives us something a little bit more specific to be excited for! Also, we felt like this was the best-case scenario for the series in the first place given that we knew it would be this summer.

Now, we really just have to hope that House of the Dragon can get somewhat close to the praise that A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is getting across the board.
