Alien: Earth season 2 premiere date: The best-case scenario

It has been a good stretch of time now since the Alien: Earth season 2 finale arrived on FX / Hulu. By virtue of that, we would not blame anyone for wanting more news regarding the future. A second season is coming, and we know that production is shifting to London after spending most of season 1 in Thailand.
As exciting as it is to know a lot of this information right now, the reality remains that there has not been much said about official dates as of yet. We mean that in terms of not just when the sci-fi sensation will return, but also when cameras will officially start rolling.

First and foremost, we should begin by noting that the Noah Hawley series is not one to be rushed, and we know full well already that FX is more than fine with taking their time here. They have never been one to hurry along any production; they are the same people behind Shogun, and we tend to think that the latest season of that is more than a year off. We tend to think the same can be true for Alien: Earth, as well.
When you consider how long it takes to film a show of this scale, let alone do post-production, our sentiment is that the best-case scenario is that you get a chance to see it back at some point in the spring or summer of 2027. It could still be later than that! Summer just makes the most sense when you consider the fact that the series has quite a summer-movie feel to it already.
What are you the most eager to see when it comes to Alien: Earth season 2?
When do you think is the best-case scenario for a premiere date? Be sure to share right now in the attached comments! Once you do that, come back to get some other updates.
