Is NCIS: Origins new tonight on CBS? We recognize that it has been a long wait to see NCIS: Origins season 2 episode 9 arrive. Are we almost at the end of it?

Well, the good news here is that the answer is yes … but that does not mean that you are going to be seeing it right away. The plan is for the show to come back moving into Tuesday, March 3, which is on the other side of not just the Winter Olympics, but also the State of the Union on February 24. It is our hope that there is going to be a pretty nice run of episode through much of March and April, but we will have to wait for a little more insight on that. All we know here is that Gibbs has a lot more story to tell in this era, and it begins with the aftermath of his impromptu wedding to Diane.

To get a few more details about what is ahead here on NCIS: Origins, check out the season 2 episode 9 synopsis below (if you have not already):

“Fools Rush In” – As the team discovers Gibbs’ drunken Vegas elopement with Diane, the newlyweds contemplate their future. Also, the team investigates a fatal movie theater bombing with a connection to the Pruitt compound where Franks’ brother Mason (guest star Philip Winchester) is staying, on NCIS: ORIGINS, Tuesday, March 3 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

Of course, we know where Gibbs and Diane’s story concludes thanks to the original show. However, are there still some opportunities to fill in the cracks here and there? We tend to think so.
