Presumed Innocent season 2 premiere date: February 2026 update
Is there a chance that we are going to hear anything further about Presumed Innocent season 2 between now and the end of February?
With a piece like this, there are of course so many different things that we can discuss at length … but what is the right way to kick it off? Well, we tend to think it is worth noting / celebrating that the next batch of episodes has already started production. It will look rather different from anything that you’ve seen so far, and we tend to think that is tied to the fact that it is based on totally separate source material and features a new cast led by Rachel Brosnahan. We would be surprised if Jake Gyllenhaal turns up at any point, and the same can be said for anyone who was a part of the first season at all.

So is there a chance that we are going to hear anything more about the second season before the end of February? There is at least a small chance that something more on the casting front could surface … but there will likely not be a whole lot more than that. Given the time in which production started off for the second season, we tend to think that the premiere is several months away. There is no guarantee that it comes out at all in 2026, but we are doing our best to remain hopeful.
After all, there is at least one major thing that Presumed Innocent has going for it at the moment: The simple fact that it does not take some extremely long period of time to edit given a lack of special effects. Of course, Apple could still hold onto the series for a long time after it is edited and ready to go … but that’s not something that we want to consider heavily at this point.
