Tell Me Lies season 3 episode 8: Will it be series finale?
In less than seven days from now, you are going to see the Tell Me Lies season 3 finale … but will it also be the end of the series? This is something that does feel possible, mostly because of what executive producer Meaghan Oppenheimer has said in the past. This season may be the end of the original vision for the show — yet, does that really mean it is farewell for good?
Well, for the time being, let’s just say that some major characters remain as in the dark as anyone.

Speaking to The Direct, here is some of what Spencer House had to say about the long-term future of the series:
“You know, there’s always the chance that a show will create another season, and whether or not that happens, that remains to be seen for the audience. But I do know that Meaghan intended for the end of this season, Season 3, to be the end of this story.”
Here’s the good news if you do want more Tell Me Lies down the road — we do think you cold make a comparison between this show and Ted Lasso, strange as it may seem. The Apple comedy was originally intended to be three seasons but after some overwhelming success, it is now in production on a season 4. Because of all this, let’s just give the series time after the upcoming finale to figure out the future. If another idea comes up, Oppenheimer and the rest of the team can figure it out. Otherwise, it is better to give viewers a sense of closure than to come back with something that feels like a letdown.
