The Traitors US season 4 episode 9: Does Eric Nam have a chance?
Tomorrow on Peacock you are going to have a chance to dive fully into The Traitors US season 4 episode 9. With that, what better time is there to discuss Eric Nam? This is someone who has played a solid under-the-radar game so far this season, though his guesses have at times been pretty awful. Take the whole “Golden Ear” situation, or him not recognizing Rob Rausch’s handwriting and thinking it was Johnny Weir instead.
At this particular moment, we are going to move forward under the assumption that the singer / actor is going to take up the offer to become a Traitor, mostly because if he doesn’t, he dies on the spot. This whole ultimatum thing is pretty ridiculous and there is no real way to get around it. We imagine that he will move forward in this spot, but what does this mean for the long-term future? That is where things could be more difficult to figure out.

After all, if Eric wants to win the game, he has to face one of two options.
1. Go to the end with Rob, and hope that he does not get double-crossed. That is a risky thing to do, mostly because Rob helped to get out both Lisa and Candiace already. He may have had reasons for it, but it still happened! He could easily feel with Eric that he does not deserve half the money because he played as a Faithful for most of the season; that is an argument we’ve heard in the past. If Eric wants to win this way, he is really going to have to prove that he’s a loyal ally and fast.
2. Get Rob out before Rob gets him. That could also be tough, but is it possible? We think he’d need to work with people like Johnny, Dorinda, and Tara, and then use them to try and convince a few others. We’re not sure that he would ever get Mark or Kristen, but he needs to act fast! Rob does have a ton of power thanks to the Dagger…
