In a little more than a week you are going to have a chance to dive full-on into the world of The Night Agent season 3, and let’s just say the following already: We are ready for all the drama that comes as a result of that! This is a season that absolutely feels primed to deliver all sorts of entertaining stuff from top to bottom, especially with actions thanks to Peter’s primary mission.

After all, consider the fact that Gabriel Basso’s character could be largely on his own this season, and Rose is not even going to be around for the duration. He is also going to be fighting against some notable adversaries, with one of the biggest ones being the Father, a man played by True Blood alum Stephen Moyer.

So what more can we say about this guy right now? For that, let’s just turn things over to executive producer Shawn Ryan, who was happy to set the stage fully to TV Insider:

Stephen plays a character known only as the Father, a mysterious man who travels the country with his home-schooled 10-year-old boy (known only as the Son). The Father is wickedly smart, with his own particular set of ethics that he adheres to religiously. He’s a prodigious adversary for Peter, and a lot happens between the two of them before the scene that the clip is from. I will say the scenes between Peter and the Father are highlights of the entire series and represent, in my opinion, the best acting work that Gabriel has ever done on the show. He and Stephen really brought out the best in each other.

In general, it does feel as though this chapter of the story is committed to doing one of the most important things: Looking and feeling different from any other.
