Ted Lasso season 4 premiere date: A February 2026 update
We heard not too long ago that Ted Lasso season 4 is going to be premiering on Apple TV at some point this summer. With that, is there a chance that some more news will be coming up soon?
Well, the first thing that we should go ahead and note here is the simple notion that the streaming service will likely put a lot into promoting the return of the show, and for good reason. Remember that back during season 3, there was rampant speculation that it could be the final season. Meanwhile, season 4 is in some ways a reboot. While Jason Sudeikis and many other cast members are back, there is a women’s soccer team that will be the focus now. That means a lot of new characters and with a time jump likely, we also tend to think that Ted, Rebecca, and many other characters are at different points in their lives.

For all the reasons we mapped out above, we do think there is a chance that a premiere date is going to be coming a few months before Ted and company are actually back. However, for the time being we still believe that this is a long ways out. We’d say to watch the spring for a more exact announcement, with July feeling like an ideal month to bring the show back.
As for what we want to see personally in season 4…
Can you undo a few of the season 3 misfires? The entire Michelle – Ted storyline was uncomfortable and unpleasant to watch; meanwhile, the writing sped up the story of Rebecca’s love life in a way that was quick and unsatisfying. There are still things to like about that chapter of the show, but we would still go so far as to say that it was the most unsatisfying version of the story so far. Seasons 1 and 2, meanwhile, were absolute magic.
