The Morning Show season 5 premiere date: February 2026 update

Between now and the end of February, are we poised to learn more about The Morning Show season 5 over at Apple TV?

There are of course so many different things that we can say on the subject of the show’s future, but we should begin by stating the following: A fifth season is absolutely happening, but it feels right to not assume it will be coming anytime soon. We have yet to hear too much regarding production, and scheduling that alone is a challenge when you consider the busy schedules of both Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. To say that a certain amount of patience is required would be putting it mildly.

So when are we going to be hearing more about filming, a premiere date, or arguably anything else? Odds are, it will not happen until we get around to at least the late spring or the summer, and that’s just with smaller reveals like casting or production. It would be a miracle for The Morning Show to come back this year and in reality, a start date in 2027 is so much more realistic. Just look at the way in which past seasons have premiered, and how long of a wait we have grown accustomed to over the years. Apple is not a service altogether concerned with making their shows into big-time annual events. Rather, they will let their creative teams take the time to make sure the quality is there.

Could season 5 be the final one?

It is possible and yet, this is really one of the few series out there that could last however long the parties involved want it to. Given the nature of news media, why would you ever think that there is going to be a sudden drought of relevant topics to discuss?
