As we look towards When Calls the Heart season 13 episode 5 on Hallmark Channel next week, what will the highlights be?

Well, the first thing that we really should say here is that in some way, the story of the fire is still ongoing. Is Nathan, Bill, or someone else going to be able to get answers? They will at least try their best, but doing that is of course so much easier said than done. It does at least seem like there’s going to be a chance for everyone to have more information as to what really happened, and that’s a start! Let’s just hope now that it will bring us closer to an actual resolution.

New evidence comes to light that shifts the fire investigation. Elizabeth and her classroom start a project that will impact the territory for generations to come.

In general, our hope still remains that the fire can be tied up in some shape or form over the next couple of weeks, largely so that the series can start to move into a few other things. Elizabeth’s classroom project at the very least feels like something that could tonally balance out the show a little bit, and give us some of the fun and escapism that is equally important.

Do we also want some more romance with Nathan and Elizabeth at this point? Absolutely! The two are taking things fairly slow, but there are some reasons for that. You have to remember what is going on right now, and that is certainly a big distraction for them being able to spend time discussing their future more.
