The Pitt season 2 episode 3 promo: An alarm sounds…
Next week on The Pitt season 2 episode 3, could something truly unexpected happen to the doctors? Judging from the new promo for what is ahead, it does feel fair to say it is possible.
After all, in said promo you can hear an alarm that starts to sound suspiciously all across the ER. Dana at one point wonders if this is a drill, but we have a feeling that it could be something so much worse. A lot of the early teases for this season suggested that there could be some sort of tech breakdown that happens, leaving many of the patients in an increasingly vulnerable position. All of it is clearly enough for Robby to start to wonder one thing: Should he have just left the night before for his sabbatical?

For starters, you still have the awkward push and pull going on between Robby and Dr. Al-Hashimi, who seems to be trying to find her own way of doing things — even if she is meant to be there for only a few months. We do still have major suspicions about an ulterior motive for her, ones driven in part by the AI app that she has pushed on multiple occasions. Why didn’t she take a step back when she realized that it made a key mistake?
Meanwhile, this upcoming episode will feature the father of the young girl who has been brought in with multiple bruises of unclear origin. Is there something awful happening to her? The father already seems offended by a social worker being brought in, and this is definitely a situation to monitor. There are other lingering stories, as well, including the baby and if Robby and Dr. Langdon are ever going to talk through some of their differences.
